Intro to Hand Spinning

This is a repeat of the sellout autumn workshop.

In this workshop you will learn to spin yarn: starting with fibre preparation all the way through to how to wash your yarn.

You will get hands on experience with:

- fibre preparation tools (e.g. hand flick carders)

- spinning and plying yarn on a spinning wheel

- winding a skein

You will take home the fibre you prepared and a skein of yarn you have spun.

All equipment and materials supplied.

Please wear casual clothes.
