Intro to Kundalini Yoga: November 2026, Mishana Philly
Description
Kundalini Yoga provides a transformational experience by combining asanas (postures), pranayama (breath), shavasana (receiving rest and a sound bath), and mantra (sacred sounding). All created to transform our nervous and glandular systems, by raising our own kundalini energy within us.
These specific sequences are also scientific, created to assist us in manifesting change within and around us as we practice to lift self-limiting beliefs, let go of mindsets that habitually stop us, and raise our consciousness together through our own breath, sound, and movements.
As we release our own blocks, balance our glandular systems and revitalize our nervous systems, Kundalini gives the opportunity for us to connect, nourish and raise our creative energies so that we can continue to evolve while creating ever-more authentic and meaningful lives.
This holistic technology is accessible to all, with no prior experience needed.
Free Parking lot & garage!

YOUR FACILITATOR:
Simcha Rachel Guttenplan is a ceremonialist, Kundalini teacher, and creator of experiences that bring people back into their bodies, their breath, and each other. As founder of This Wholly Life, she holds space wherever people gather: weekly classes, rooftop Kundalini under the open sky in the summer, full-moon and seasonal ceremonies, retreats, and immersive healing arts festivals.
Community is at the heart of her work. Simcha co-founded The Women’s Collective of Greater Philadelphia and the Ancestral Rhythms collective, and co-produced the Harmonic Earth healing arts festival this past year. She also produces and facilitates The Wholly School, her weekly virtual mystery school, teaches Kundalini monthly at Thyme Travelers Conservatory, and brings her arts and mindfulness background into Philadelphia classrooms as a substitute teacher.
A weaver of many modalities, Simcha brings together Kundalini yoga, Kabbalah and Jewish mysticism, ThetaHealing, Reiki, somatic work, the elements, sacred sound, and ceremony and ritual. She is also an internationally exhibited photographer and fine artist, creator of the sold-out oracle deck The Deck of Queens, and a self-published author. Whether she is guiding a gong bath or designing a weekend retreat, she has a gift for turning spiritual practice into a lived, shared experience.
Her mission is to create spaces where people can embody, express, and integrate their true authenticity, together.
Simcha is Kundalini Certified through 3HO, ThetaHealing Certified, and a Reiki Master.
