Intro to Snow

Intro to Snow is our highly anticipated women-led ski and board event for the winter season! Whether you’ve never seen snow before or you’re a seasoned pro, this event is the perfect opportunity to make friends and “shred the gnar” with other like-minded wāhine.

We will be carpooling from UCSA to enjoy a day on the slopes at Mt Cheeseman ski field. Lunch will be provided. With both beginner and intermediate/advanced options, we have designed this event to suit a wide range of skiing/boarding abilities: Our beginner package includes full gear hire (ski/board, boots, and poles) from McEwings Ski & Board Hire, a Learner’s Tow pass and instruction from experienced exec members and qualified ski/board instructors. Our intermediate/advanced option covers a full-day pass at Mt Cheeseman ski field, with the option to ski with some of our experienced crew and polish up some of your ski/board skills (just in time for other events like Girls’ Shred!).
