Join experienced educator and permaculturalist Dylan Graves in an interactive workshop to introduce you to the ethics, principles, and basic design aspects of Permaculture.

Interested in Permaculture, but never done a course or workshop - this is an Introduction to Permaculture day workshop on the Thursday before (27th March) the lower south island Permaculture Hui/Convergence, and then the Heritage Harvest Festival over the weekend. Make it into a holiday of learning, and networking, and relaxing all-in-one trip! Come to the Intro and then meet more permies at the hui the day after and get more inspiration, find a mentor or two, and see the famous Guyton Forest Garden in it's full glory of abundance.

Dylan originates from South Africa and emigrated to New Zealand in 1994. He became a secondary school teacher after finishing high school and after an initial two years on the Kapiti Coast, taught in 4 more countries before returning to New Zealand in 2021. He discovered permaculture in the late 2000s while in Taiwan and now facilitates workshops whenever he can. He has over 10 years of full time homesteading and practical permaculture experience and has studied permaculture intensely over this time.
