The Power of Innovation in Health Precincts

Event description

If the pandemic has shown us anything, it’s the acute need for the rapid translation of research into clinical practice.

Four years ago, Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct (RHIP) was founded by Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick; UNSW, Sydney; Health Infrastructure NSW; and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Now, the Precinct’s Collaborating Partners are more committed than ever to working together to create a health and education precinct that can accelerate innovation both at home and abroad.

On Thursday October 13th, we invite you to join us for a thought-provoking online seminar that explores the critical role of collaborative innovation in addressing the major global challenges of our time.

Hear from a range of expert speakers from UNSW Entrepreneurship, The George Institute for Global Health, Black Dog Institute, iHealthE and Drop Bio Health as they showcase their organisation’s cutting-edge research and unpack how to get great ideas for new technologies out of someone’s head and into production for the benefit of society.

Event speakers & panelists include:

  • Brooke Griffin, Executive Director - RHIP
  • Stephen Palmer, Industry & Innovation Lead - RHIP
  • Phil Hayes St Clair, CEO - Drop Bio Health
  • Dina Titkova, Program Manager - UNSW Founders
  • Parisa Glass, Director of Innovation and Enterprise - The George Institute for Global Health
  • Sarah Holland, Head of Innovation - Black Dog Institute
  • Ian Goon, Head of Strategy and Innovation - iHealthE

Please register via Humanitix and join us at 12:00pm via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 13 October for an intriguing discussion.

To keep up-to-date with all things RHIP, please follow us on LinkedIn & Twitter.

We look forward to seeing you there!
