What to expect 

Advantaged Thinking is a way of working that involves mobilizing the entire community to redirect attention from the perceived negatives or deficits of young people, to their strengths, talents, skills and potential. 

The Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) Youth Team work with young people across a range of different education, employment and training programs which recognise and nurture young people’s talents and capabilities to enable them to thrive. The Practice Team work specifically with teams both internally and externally to support staff with Advantaged Thinking practice approach.

In this workshop, you'll learn more about the Advantaged Thinking approach, the 7 tests of Advantaged thinking and the 5 Key Practice Areas of Advantaged Thinking.

This workshop is aimed youth workers and those who work with young people in a relational way and where the young person is their priority.

Refunds

All refund requests must be made in writing by contacting the organiser up to 24 hours before the start day of the event. No refunds will be granted after that. A full refund will be made up to 10 days of the request being submitted. Please contact Finnley Stirling at FStirling@yacvic.org.au.
