Introduction to Arts Fundraising | Eurobodalla Shire

Do you want to learn more about private sector fundraising and opportunities to develop your skills and confidence?

Registrations for Creative Partnerships' Introduction to Arts Fundraising are now open. This session will benefit leaders and/or fundraisers within cultural organisations, individual artists and anyone in the cultural sector keen to learn the fundamentals of arts fundraising, located in the far south coast of NSW. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with Christina Chiam, our State Manager for NSW & ACT.

This session will introduce the programs and services offered by Creative Partnerships, including our coaching and advice service that provides free tailored, one-on-one advice with our State Managers. It will also introduce the Australian Cultural Fund, our online fundraising platform, and cover fundamental elements of philanthropy and sponsorship; from writing an effective case for support, to the fundraising roles and responsibilities of the Board.

Christina will also be available for one-on-one meetings after the presentation. Register for a one-on-one meeting by sending an enquiry to christina@creativepartnerships.gov.au

    About the presenter:

Christina Chiam is Creative Partnerships Australia’s State Manager for NSW & ACT and has over 15 years’ experience in the cultural, not-for-profit and education sectors in Australia and overseas. She was previously the Head of Development at Sydney Film Festival, leading the sponsorship team as they navigated through the dramatic impact brought about by COVID-19.

Her extensive career spans business development, fundraising strategy, stakeholder relations and event management. Christina has deep appreciation of the different operating contexts across the sector, having worked across small-to-medium and major companies. A thoughtful leader well versed in coaching teams, Christina mentors aspiring arts managers and works openly and collaboratively towards organisational goals.

This event is presented in partnership with the South East Arts.

Creative Partnerships Australia is a commonwealth government arts agency helping to build industry sustainability through private sector engagement.
