Introduction to Auslan

Event description

The City of Vincent is excited to present the ‘Introduction to Auslan’ program at the Vincent Community Centre.

Kim Kossenberg, an experienced Auslan teacher, will lead 8 sessions which teaches basic skills to communicate with Deaf people in Auslan. The first session will cover Deaf Awareness Training and the subsequent sessions begin with finger spelling and greetings and will cover a wide range of topics that involve simple, everyday language.

Please note that it is necessary to attend all 8 sessions as the skills taught in each lesson lay the foundation for the subsequent sessions.
