Dunc's Honey is offering a comprehensive and hands-on introduction to backyard beekeeping.
This day course is perfect for anyone interested in learning the essentials of beekeeping, from understanding the basics of bees and their roles within the hive to government regulations and hive management.
The practical experience of inspecting a hive, identifying the queen, workers, and drones, as well as testing for and managing diseases, is an invaluable tool in Beekeeping, plus, participants get to harvest and take home some honey, which adds a sweet touch to the learning experience.
The small group size ensures personalised attention, making it ideal for beginners. The inclusion of meals, snacks, drinks, and textbooks adds convenience, and the opportunity to contact Dunc directly after the course is also available.
