This 2-part online  interactive workshop provides participants with the origins and distinctives of Churches of Christ as a movement in Australia, highlighting key junctures in its history, introducing influential leaders and relating significant events and stories that has shaped the movement. As with every great movement, Churches of Christ has advanced the Gospel of Jesus Christ and perpetuated the ministry of the Church by its culture built on specific practices and Biblical values.

Contents:

• The birth and history of the Churches of Christ

• Significant leaders, people, events, and declarations

• Major practices, values and statements that characterizes the movement:

     - Churches of Christ Australia, history and future

     - Strength and Weaknesses

This online workshop will be led by known and passionate personalities in the Churches of Christ, is highly recommended for ministers, leaders and key volunteers in a Churches of Christ setting. It is also a required Professional Development for ministers seeking Accreditation with CCVT.
