Introduction to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Training

Grief Support Services are proud to present our new Learning Over Kai mini workshops which will be held during September, October and November. Featuring Dr Nikki Kiyimba, each session will focus on a different aspect of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), making them ideal for counsellors, social workers, HIP’s and health coaches.
- Session One – 25 September: Overview of DBT and Behaviour Chain Analysis
- Session Two – 23 October: Diary keeping homework and overview of DBT skills
- Session Three – 27 November: DBT skills focus and putting it all together
Each session runs from 9:15am to 11:15am at the Heremanuhiri Meeting Room at Greerton Library, Tauranga with morning tea provided.
- Book for the September session only $99.00 + GST, including all ticketing fees
- Book for all three sessions $248.00 + GST, including all ticketing fees
- NB: You cannot book for October or November as standalone sessions. On the payment page you can select whether you would like to pay by credit card or invoice.
Spaces are limited and booking up quickly with a maximum of 30 people per session.

Nikki Kiyimba is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in working with clients with enduring mental health challenges and complex trauma. She is Director of Mātai Rongo, a training, consultancy and client-facing organisation. She developed the first post-graduate programme in Responding to Trauma accredited by The New Zealand Qualifications Authority. Nikki has also authored several books and published more than fifty peer reviewed articles and. Bringing a wealth of experience and skills, Nikki is at the forefront of professional training for a range of health and social care professionals.
