INTRODUCTION TO DIY CARPENTRY
with NIKKI
Are you ready to take charge of your home maintenance, repairs, and upgrades? Join us for an empowering workshop designed to kickstart your DIY journey!
In this hands-on workshop, you'll delve into some essential aspects of home improvement, starting with constructing a mock-up of a framed wall, so you understand how to tackle basic repairs and modifications with confidence.
Throughout the workshop, you'll experience essential carpentry tools and their uses, including saws, drills and drivers, learning the right tool for every task. No more guesswork — just practical skills you can apply right away.
We'll also cover:
🔨 Wall Hangings: Discover the secrets to securely hang pictures and shelves, adding personality and functionality to any space.
🔧 Mouldings: Learn the art of installing skirting and other mouldings, adding a touch of elegance to your home.
If we have time, we'll also cover:
🚪 Door Hardware: Hooks, handles and hinges - unlock the knowledge needed to maintain and upgrade your doors

What to expect:​

Each class is for 3 1/2 hrs with a short break for morning tea. A kitchen/dining area is available with free tea/coffee making facilities.
All workshop PPE (eye, ear, respiratory protection) will be available but we recommend to bring your own especially a high quality mask if you are sensitive to dust.
If you wish to bring your own drill (must be cordless) you are welcome to do that.
Max of 6 people per workshop (minimum of 4 to run)
