Online Event
Add to calendar

Tue, 6 May, 9:30pm - 10:30pm AEST

Event description

The session overview:

We’re partnering with Energy Local, an organisation transforming the electricity market. Energy Local gives people a way to access cheaper, cleaner energy that’s generated locally. Through Energy Local Clubs, households can come together and use locally generated renewable electricity – helping to lower your bills, support local generators, and keep more money in the local community.

This online session will:

  • Introduce the Energy Local model
  • Explain how it works in practice
  • Explore how to start an Energy Local Club in Bristol

Interested in getting more involved?

For those who are keen to set up a local club, we’ll be running a more in depth training on the 10th and 11th of June from 10am-3pm each day (location of this extra training is TBC - more details to follow).

This will be emailed to you a few days before the event.

Our free sessions are open to anyone living in Bristol, before attending, please sign up for the Energy Champion newsletter/programme here. This session is for anyone interested in taking action on energy in their home and in their community. No prior experience is required and all abilities are welcome!
