Explore Filipino Psychology and its guiding principles, and discover ways to decolonize aspects of your life while reconnecting with the richness of Filipino culture. You’ll also be introduced to Hilot, a traditional Filipino healing practice, and learn its core principles along with practical ways to integrate these ancestral traditions into your everyday life. This will be In Person, lunch will be provided.

    Earlando is a Pilipinx-American Hilot practitioner and founder of Balete Bodywork & Botanika, specializing in Philippine healing traditions for the diaspora. Rooted in ancestral lineage and trained through family Manghihilot and formal Hilot Binabaylan practice, their work centers on reconnecting clients to Pilipino cultural and spiritual heritage through bodywork, herbalism, and indigenous knowledge.

    Jez is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist whose work centers on Filipinx/American identity and the nuanced impact of colonial mentality.
