Introduction to Flogging (Dec)
Event description
What is the workshop content?
Flogging is an impact play technique using one flogger on a partner. During this introduction class we will discuss consent; flogger types; safety; strike zones; and patterns including transitions and variations. A significant portion of the class will be set aside for practice included guided practical instruction followed by free time where Cam_E_Leon and assistants will observe students and then give individual tips and pointers.
This class will follow the first three steps of Cam_E_Leon’s flogging progression of;
Flog the air;
Flog an object;
Flog a person and then;
Flog a person in a kinky venue.
There may be the opportunity to flog another person during this class.
Consent underpins kink practice. You must have explicit, enthusiastic consent from a person to do kinky things with them. Consent is informed, ongoing and enthusiastic. We will discuss the importance of consent as part of our class.
No part of this class is compulsory. Participants are welcome to opt out at any stage.
What do I need to bring?
Students will need to bring their own flogger. There will be a limited number of floggers available to hire.
Recommended introductory floggers are at L & Ds. They come in a variety of colours and sizes.

Students have the option to bring a cushion to sit on if they wish.
Who is presenting?
Cam_E_Leon’s teaching style is dynamic and interactive. Participants can expect to be taking part in hands-on practice multiple times in a class. He breaks skills to be taught down to specific micro-skills then teaches these progressively, leading to heightened skill development. He has taught introductory and intermediate impact play one-on-one and in skill share formats to unanimously positive feedback.
Cam_E_Leon loves impact play and has been consensually hitting bottoms for since 2014. A veteran of over 100 scenes in a variety of publicly kinky settings including Curiosity, Fantastic, Provocation, and Splinter, he is particularly known for flamboyant impact scenes involving Florentine flogging with technical transitions.

Where is the workshop being held?
This workshop is at a new venue: 24 Moons in Northcote. There is a bar where we can hang out at after the workshop.
There is a car parking just across the road which is free after 6pm.
