Introduction to Google Business (City of Cockburn)

This workshop is delivered by the Small Business Development Corporation, in collaboration with the City of Cockburn. 
Please note, this workshop is for small business owners in the City of Cockburn only. 

Having a strong online presence is essential for business success and a major component of this is making your business easy to find via search.

This workshop will guide you through the process of setting up and optimising a Google Business Profile to provide essential information to potential customers – in particular for businesses with a physical location as local search is a powerful discovery tool.

You’ll learn how to set up and optimise your Google Business Profile, improve the information customers see about your business, use photos, posts, reviews and updates effectively, and understand the factors that can influence how your business appears in local search results.

This topic covers:

• Optimising your Google Business Profile to showcase your business's vital information

• Effective strategies to improve your local search visibility

• Leveraging customer reviews and feedback

• Utilising free Google Business tools

This workshop is ideal for business owners looking to use Google Business to get found online.

Bookings are limited to two tickets each, however you can make more than one booking. If you are booking for more than one person, please provide each person's email address so they receive our emails with important links and downloads.

If you cannot attend, please cancel so your place can be made available to another business owner. You can cancel your booking from the update order button on your order confirmation email. Cancellations and refunds for paid workshops can be made up to 24 hours before the workshop starts.
