The practicalities
The workshop is being delivered in two-parts, building on in-person introductory workshops delivered over the past year. You can choose whether to attend one or both workshops.
The workshops will be held online using online video meeting software.
There will be no recordings of the workshops, however handouts will be emailed out afterwards.
The workshop is offered on a sliding scale basis, with the intention that this enables anyone who wishes to join to be able to do so.
The facilitator
The workshop is facilitated by Claire of Nourish the Wild CIC. Claire trained in organic fruit and vegetable production at market garden level, before realising that with a back injury, this wasn't going to be sustainable. Going on to train with various permaculture teachers, Claire developed a keen interest in the techniques of forest gardening, experimenting with plants in two different microclimates in London and North East England. Alongside time spent in the garden, Claire also devoted the last 6 years to the study and practice of medical herbalism, weaving together each of these strands to bring a holistic approach to growing and working with perennial plants.
