Event description

Join Iain Barker, co-founder of Meld Studios, for a rapid one-day introduction to human-centred design that mixes theory, practical activities and 30 years experience providing HCD services into public and private sector organisations.

This workshop is online and will run from 9:30am to 4:30pm (AEDT).

During the session, focus is given to:

  • Key HCD activities, mindsets and benefits
  • A diverse range of case studies and impact stories
  • Discovery research theory and practical activity
  • Sensemaking activities
  • Problem framing
  • Ideation and codesign
  • Prototyping, testing and concept deconstruction
  • Creating a future vision
  • Emerging use of AI in HCD

In-house training and coaching

As well as running this workshop publicly, it can be run in-house for your organisation. Typically this is done over 1 to 3 days and can involve tackling a real organisational topic/project. 

Alternatively Iain can provide a series of one-on-one coaching sessions for individuals or project teams.
