Are we considering future generations in our thinking? Are we good ancestors? Join us for an hour exploring some of the latest developments in supporting intergenerational fairness and future generations.

We will celebrate the UN Summit of the Future, Pact for the Future and the creation of a UN Envoy for Future Generations. What better day to share ideas that Monday 2 December, UNESCO World Futures Day!

You will see some of the work that is happening in Aotearoa New Zealand. In particular, we will be sharing some of the amazing resources, examples and opportunities from Ōtautahi Christchurch.

“Future generations are all those generations that do not yet exist, and who will inherit this planet.” p. 56 Pact for the Future

This webinar will be hosted by Dr Cheryl Doig, who has been working globally to embed intergenerational fairness into cities, organisations and mindsets. She will be joined by several other local futures thinkers who are dedicated to making a positive difference for those of today and those of tomorrow.
