At Ochre Dawn, we are passionate about the preservation of Indigenous languages and we also love hearing people speak in the local language. Now that shows respect!

For those in the Adelaide Plains region, or for frequent visitors to our great city, you would likely have heard that you reside and/or work on Kaurna Country.

The lifelong mission of proud Kaurna and Narungga man, Jack Buckskin, is to teach the endangered language of the Adelaide Plains to as many people as possible.

With his quick wit and humour, Jack will lead you in a live, online workshop of language learning (basic Kaurna phrases) and cultural understanding. And you will be sure have a whole lot of fun in the process.
