In this hands-on workshop you will learn the foundations of photography and how a camera works. Participants will gain a practical understanding of their camera’s functions – aperture, shutter speed and ISO. BYO device (DSLR or mirrorless cameras), but not essential to participate.

James and Patrick from F.Stop Workshop will be here at the Griffith Regional Art Gallery to take you into the diverse world of photography. We are supplying the exhibition and the F.stop duo are supplying their twenty plus years of combined knowledge to explore the gallery’s current exhibition the Portrait of Australia: Stories through the lens of Australian Geographic.

Any patron visiting Griffith Regional Art Gallery will be required to be double vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide proof of this (or an exemption) on request from staff. This includes people attending events or workshops on-site. If you are planning on purchasing tickets for any events at the Gallery before 1 December, please ensure every ticket holder is double vaccinated to avoid them being denied entry to the event.
