Introduction to quality improvement in Advance to Zero

Quality improvement is a cornerstone of achieving and sustaining functional zero homelessness. This session will introduce participants to the core principles of quality improvement (QI) and its application within the Advance to Zero (AtoZ) framework.

This interactive 90-minute session will provide a clear understanding of how QI methods can help drive measurable progress in reducing homelessness. Participants will explore practical tools and real-world examples that demonstrate how continuous improvement can lead to more effective service delivery and stronger system outcomes.

• Understanding quality improvement: Learn the fundamental concepts of QI and why it is essential for achieving zero homelessness.
• Practical applications: Discover how QI principles are applied in AtoZ communities to address challenges and enhance collaboration.

• This is an introductory session and is designed for anyone within AtoZ who is interested in learning.
• Examples of different attendees include: AtoZ members on improvement teams, data workers, local community coordinators and community impact advisors.

• Non-AtoZ member: If you are currently not collaborating with an Advance to Zero community but wish to attend this session, you can purchase a general admission ticket. Your contribution helps support the work of the AtoZ movement to end homelessness.
• AtoZ community member: If you are a member of an AtoZ community, you are eligible for a free ticket. A discount code is required to access your ticket. Please contact your local lead or email info@aaeh.org.au to receive your code.
