Connect with your baby and discover the joy or sensory play. Smaller class sizes and simple set ups, geared towards 6 - 12 month olds. This session is designed for those wanting to try sensory and messy play for the first time before joining our bigger, mixed aged classes.

Refund policy

Safety is of paramount importance to us at Get Messy, so to keep all our members safe throughout our sessions please follow these guidelines. Parents/carers must supervise their children at all times. If you need to leave the room please take your child with you. Your child remains your responsibility during the session. Due to the nature of messy play, some areas may become slippery so please avoid running to minimize slip hazards. Please advise us during the session if you notice any spills. All materials provided are to be played with under parent/carer supervision. The materials we use are non-toxic. We prefer that the children refrain from eating them as some materials may pose a choking risk/allergy risk. If you or your child is sick please do not attend our sessions to prevent the spreading illnesses Cancellations: Get Messy reserves the right to cancel sessions due to circumstances beyond our control (ie; venue closure, staff illness) This will be communicated via our Facebook page and email. If you need to cancel please advise by emailing northshore@getmessy.co.nz Cancellations are non-refundable if made within less than 24hrs of the booked session. Attendance- Please provide your name and your child's name upon entry. Get Messy is unable to take any responsibility for you not attending the event at the correct time or day.- Due to hire costs, labour costs and material costs we do not offer refunds on tickets if less than 24hr notice. You may wish to on-sell your ticket.- Please note your purchase allows entry for ONE ADULT per family. This is due to fire number restrictions and allowing there to be enough room to be enjoyable.- If you have multiple children who are siblings, you may purchase multiple tickets as per the ticket schedule.- The multiple ticket option is for siblings only. If you need more than one adult to attend a class please email. Make-up classes - We offer 1 make-up class per customer per term. Please notify your class leader 1 hour before the start of your booked class to be eligible. Makeup classes are subject to availability and must be used at the same venue, Makeup classes are not transferable to other venues/locations and do not hold any monetary value. Sorry, we are unable to offer makeup classes for pop-up events, special events and Saturday classes. Clothing: Please only wear clothes you don't mind getting messy and stained. We will have a place to clean up the children and some towels available for use afterwards but we would recommend bringing a towel and a change of clothes with you for you and your children. Get Messy accepts no responsibility or liability for staining/marking of clothes or shoes. Most materials we use are washable but staining may still occur. Privacy / Photo consent: Get Messy may take photographs or video clips during sessions. This footage may be used on our website, Facebook or marketing materials. If you do not wish to have your child’s photograph taken please advise us. Get Messy will never share your email or personal details with third parties. Email addresses will only be used for information notices.

Getting Messy

Our sessions are designed for your little ones to explore, experiment, create and play at their own pace. It's about having fun and encouraging their senses, curiosity and knowledge in a relaxed and social space.

Ideal for 6 months to 5 years but older siblings are welcome to come along and join in the fun as well.

Each week is a new theme with multi-sensory, exciting activities. Don't forget to bring a towel and a change of clothes for afterwards.

It's all non-toxic and child friendly and best of all - we clean everything up afterwards so you don't have to!

So come along to splat, squelch, pour, mix, squeeze, dig and see where your child's imagination will take you.

Welcome to Get Messy North Shore

Hello I'm Becky your class leader, I'm a Mum to two little boys who love to get messy. Finding activities to keep my energetic boys focused for more than 5 minutes is never easy, Potion-making and Construction themes are a firm favourite in my household. I'm very passionate about messy play and its many benefits. Running my own classes fits in perfectly with my children.

I can't wait to meet you at one of my classes soon.
