Introduction to Silver Clay: Mini Charms with Maria
Event description
Create a really unique gift for someone this Festive season!
Silver Clay is an interesting material for silver jewellery making. It's a pliable clay with powdered silver through it, meaning the clay can be sculpted into unique shapes and designs. The silver clay is then fired in a kiln and the clay binding component burns away leaving your creation as solid silver!
In this fun hands-on class we'll be using Silver Clay to create mini silver charms. We'll be firing our silver clay in a microwave kiln during class, so you'll learn all about microwave kilns as well!
This is a special 2-hour class that includes instructions, creation time, firing, cooling and then filing and polishing.
All materials included, with enough silver clay to make 1x3D or 2x2D small charms.
So come and learn what you can do with silver clay in this fun, beginner's class!Â
