Tech Savvy Seniors: Introduction to Smartphones
Event description
Our third workshop in the Tech Savvy Seniors program is perfect for those who are keen to learn the basics of using a smartphone. This hands-on session will start at the very beginning and give you the confidence to try new skills. Attendees will learn about data plans, the different kinds of smartphones available, the basic operations of using a smartphone and an introduction to the world of apps. Participants can BYO device, or a laptop can be supplied for the session upon request (please indicate this when booking).

ABOUT TECH SAVVY SENIORS
Tech Savvy Seniors is a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra, providing free technology training to seniors through libraries. The program aims to help seniors with little or no digital experience to develop skills and confidence in using technology for socialising, accessing services, and conducting personal business. These hands-on training workshops include courses on using computers, smartphones, tablets, the internet, email, and social media.
