This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

A delicious day of sourdough teaching and a chance to bake your own loaf and learn the introductory skills of sourdough baking.

This hands-on highly practical workshop for a maximum group of 7, will provide an incredible introduction to sourdough bread making including how to manage your starter, how to work with flour and water ratios and how to make a delicious sourdough loaf. At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home their own freshly baked loaf of bread.

This is a great introductory workshop but can also be used as a refresher for those that want to reinvigorate their love of sourdough.

The technique taught fits into a typical busy schedule and can be adjusted to suit your working week.

Delicious treats will also be offered during this workshop and will include freshly baked sourdough bread for lunch. Participants can also take a tour of our sustainable farm.

Inclusions:

Delicious sourdough lunch and other tastings

Your own loaf of bread

Your own sourdough starter taken from our 10 year old starter.

Tour of our farm

Other special extras on the day

Additional baking equipment is available for purchase on the day.

*In the interests of expanding the sourdough knowledge of this community, we would like to offer one significantly discounted ticket to a person who would ordinarily be unable to afford a full day's course but has a strong interest in sourdough. Please contact us by email on hello@onetablefarm.com.au to discuss.

Please note that this workshop is subject to cancellation should minimum attendance (4) not be reached.
