Introduction to SPSS (Sep 2024)
Event description
This workshop will provide a hands-on introduction to the widely-used SPSS statistical analysis package. Participants will learn how to import, manage and transform datasets, and how to summarise and present data. The workshop will also include a basic introduction to statistical inference testing using SPSS.
To participate in this workshop, you must have access to an SPSS licence; this can often be obtained through your university IT support system
This workshop will take place over two consecutive mornings (9.00-12.30): 18th & 19th September. Please only register if you are able to fully commit to attending *both* sessions.
FAQs
What should I bring into the event?
This is an online workshop, so you will need to provide your own computer with SPSS pre-installed, and have access to a reliable internet connection sufficient for video conferencing. A second monitor is highly recommended.
What prior experience do I need?
This is an introductory level workshop and no prior experience with SPSS is required.

What's the cancellation policy?
Cancellations are accepted up to three working days before the start of the workshop. If you do not join on the day without having cancelled beforehand, you may be blocked from attending any future QCIF training workshops.
