Tech Savvy Seniors: Introduction to the Internet

Tech Savvy Seniors is back! This is the second of 4 practical sessions that the Library will be offering. Workshop 2 will walk you through the very basics of the internet: how it works, how to get online, and how to surf the web. At the end, you should be able to sign up for an internet service and access and search the internet on your home computer. Participants can BYO device, or a laptop can be supplied for the session upon request (please indicate this when booking).

ABOUT TECH SAVVY SENIORS
Tech Savvy Seniors is a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra, providing free technology training to seniors through libraries. The program aims to help seniors with little or no digital experience to develop skills and confidence in using technology for socialising, accessing services, and conducting personal business. These hands-on training workshops include courses on using computers, smartphones, tablets, the internet, email, and social media.
