Join local artist Vivi Palegeorge, in this three-hour workshop as she shares her expert knowledge in watercolour painting.
Participants will learn essential techniques needed to create a perfectly finished watercolor painting filled with atmosphere, mood and light. You will learn all about, wet onto wet, wet onto dry, lifting out, splattering and colour mixing.
Vivi Palegeorge is a well-known local Bayside artist with many years of experience in tutoring watercolour, acrylics and oils. This class is perfect for beginners or students looking to improve their skills in watercolour.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN;
How to explore colour mixing properties using a limited palette.
How to achieve wet into wet and wet into dry washes
How to achieve texture with various techniques and materials.
How to create a beautiful composition.
How to choose appropriate painting materials for best possible result
WHAT YOU WILL GET
3 sheets of A4 size of 300 gsm Arches cold pressed paper will be provided
High quality Watercolour paint
A social and welcoming studio environment including tea and coffee facilities.
WHAT TO BRING
An assortment of watercolour brushes, including a size 12 round, 3/4 inch flat and a rigger brush OR there is the option to purchase a pack of Royal & Langnickel Brush Set of 12 from Bayley Arts on the day of the workshop for an additional cost of $20 for you to keep.

This workshop is suitable for persons 16 years and over. No previous experience is necessary. If you attended the last workshop, Vivi will be choosing a different landscape.
