Introduction to Wildlife Camera Operation

Do you want to observe and learn about wildlife that visits your backyard? 

Ecologists will show you how to monitor at your place using cameras to capture images of local visitors. 

Get to know some of our local species, their habits and how to identify them. Includes info on common and rarer species, what we’ve found in our fauna surveys (LOTS!) and tips on camera placement and viewing and downloading your images.

We aim to establish a camera library and network of locals to monitor the diversity and movements of our local fauna into the future.
