The Association for Mental Health Support Workers - Introductory Meeting
Event description
Join your community of support workers from industries including aged care, community service, disability, individual support, mental health and youth work for connection, continued learning, and peer supervision through a mental health filter
Our introductory meeting will feature a special guest speaker Amanda Patterson as we explore Self-care and Boundaries
"Being in a Support Role can mean that we get overrun or swamped by others' needs or feel the need to create walls around the heart to stay less affected. This short workshop will help you unpack your relationship with self-care and healthy boundaries and give you more awareness and choice in making your role feel even more balanced and resourced for you."
