Introductory Pine Needle Basket Making Workshop - 3 sessions - April 27, May 7 & 11th. 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Join local artist Michelle Maule as she guides you through the process of making your very own unique pine needle basket. This fun, informal class will be held at Michelle’s home in Whitecroft in three separate 3-hour sessions, once a week for three weeks. You will learn all the basics from collecting and cleaning the needles to putting the finishing touches on the lid of your own unique basket. All supplies will be provided with registration fee.

Saturday, April 27, Saturday, May 4 and Saturday, May 11

9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

$100 for all three sessions (includes all supplies)

Michelle Maule Bio

Michelle Maule has been a resident of Whitecroft since the days of Tod Mountain. She is an artist of many talents and interests. She works primarily with wood, using large bridge timbers to design and make original pieces of furniture, many of which can been seen throughout the Sun Peaks village and in private homes. She has taken instruction in basket making, read extensively about this handicraft and made many of her own design.
