Introductory Songwriting Workshop in Howick - Free for Kids & Teens
Event description
These two workshops are beginner-friendly, so anyone can participate, without prior experience. Feel free to drop in to either one or both!
You will have fun while developing fundamental songwriting skills. The workshops include simple exercises in storytelling, rhyming, lyric writing, and melody creation. Sponsored by the Howick Local Board, they are free for kids and teens!
Your instructor, Amy Shuang Wang, is an award-winning Chinese-Kiwi songwriter who performs under the artist name Raging Flowers. She is fun, friendly, and passionate about songwriting, and she loves helping beginners unlock their creativity. You can find her music on all major streaming platforms.
