Intuitive Art for Kids (10-15)

We all know that kids have big imaginations—sometimes too big! Local intuitive artist Daniel A’Vard will take your kids on a journey to produce artwork straight from the heart and onto a canvas.

In a world that often asks children to "colour within the lines," this workshop offers a rare space for pure, uninhibited expression. There are no mistakes here—only discoveries.

What is Intuitive Art?

Unlike traditional art classes that focus on technical "perfection," intuitive art is about the process. Daniel guides students to listen to their instincts, play with colour, texture and form and let their feelings lead the brush. It’s about building confidence and finding joy in the act of creation.

What’s Included?

We provide everything your young artist needs to bring their vision to life:

• High-quality materials: Acrylic paints and a variety of mixed-media tools.

• 2 x Canvas per person: A blank slate for them to take home and hang with pride.

• Expert Guidance: Daniel’s supportive approach empowers kids to explore their own unique style in a safe, creative environment.

• A child safe environment: Daniel and his assistants are fully trained in child safety and have working with children checks available on request. Parents are welcome to stay and have a coffee while their child paints, or to leave them and explore Bright on their own.

Where: Bright Church of Christ - 18 Park St, Bright

When: 10am - 12pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled so we can start our creative journey on time!
