Intuitive Art with Noongar Artist Buffie: Journey with Symbols

Join us for a unique and soulful art event guided by Buffie Creative. Buffie will lead you on an intuitive painting journey, drawing from the ancient wisdom of Aboriginal symbols. The day begins with a peaceful meditation to centre your energy, followed by hands-on creation of your own symbolic artwork using acrylic paints on canvas.

Enjoy a light, nutritious plant-based lunch with tea and coffee available throughout the day. The workshop runs from 10 am to 3 pm, giving you ample time to connect with your creative spirit and the stories held within each brushstroke.

Whether you are a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, this workshop offers a supportive and inspiring environment to express your creativity and connect with others.

Introducing Buffie-

I love spending time with those that I love and have a strong bond with my family. Much of my work is greatly influenced by family, cultural connections and my spirituality.

I can express myself whole heartedly through my artwork. I believe art is one of the greatest tools to help with any mental and emotional issues. I have always loved painting, drawing and experimenting in a variety of art mediums. I am especially drawn to the challenge of conveying to others, through art, how I am influenced by my spirituality, my culture and my life experiences. I use art as a platform for storytelling.

We all have a story to tell and art is one of the most creative forms to share our stories.

I create commissioned pieces, both digital and acrylic paint on canvas. I create artworks by taking inspiration from my client and what I see and feel around me through my spirituality and what connects me to my culture. I especially love using Aboriginal symbols to portray a story and narrative.
