Event description

In the lead up to Invasion Day, join Children’s Ground and three panellists who have extensive lived experience of the oppressive structures that work against the agency of First Nations communities.

Hosted by Gomeroi woman and Indigenous affairs journalist Madeline Hayman-Reber in conversation with three incredible panellists who have extensive lived experience of the oppressive structures that work against the agency of First Nations communities.

Our panellists include:

  • William Tilmouth, Arrernte Elder and Children’s Ground Chairperson.
  • Gwenda Stanley, a Gomeroi woman, incursion artist, dancer, and Aboriginal rights activist.
  • Larissa Baldwin, a Widjabul Wia-bul woman and CEO of GetUp.

You'll walk away with a deeper understanding of the power of agency and the role you can play in supporting First Nations self-determination in this country.
