Invasive Plant Workshop

Join Cas and Tom from Bellingen Organic Landcare for an engaging workshop on the latest in organic weed management and landcare.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn to identify and manage local weeds using ecological succession and the Bradley method of bush regeneration in an organic garden context.

Discover the principles behind these techniques and help put them to action at our beautiful community garden.

Additionally, you’ll get the chance to explore Myco-regen, an innovative approach that phases out large woody weeds while producing edible and medicinal mushrooms.

This workshop offers practical skills and insights for creating healthier, more resilient landscapes. 

The workshop is supported through the Bellingen Shire Council Environmental Levy Grant program. Tickets are free but are limited - please let us know if you can no longer attend.
