From Japan—a nation shaped by Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Fukushima—comes a powerful message of prayer and truth. Rooted in the memories of disaster, and lived history of radiation, where do we look when envisioning our future? Together, we explore the hope that lies within thinking together, moving together, and building that future onstage.
Experience an immersive performance blending Butoh and contemporary dance with immersive installation projections, poetry, theater, and live Shakuhachi flute and Taiko drumming.
INVISIBLE ATLAS is an international performance project. A project that begins with the memories of the atomic bombing, destruction, and loss, and moves toward regeneration.
Through the body, we give form to what cannot be seen, and draw a new map.
