CANCELLED Paraburdoo: Involving young people in clubs, groups and committees

This workshop is for individuals within any group, club or committee who want to get more young people more involved in their organisation

During this session we will cover:

1. Motivation: Why young people might be motivated to join a community group or committee
2. Culture: How to develop a more youth-friendly cultural within your community group or committee
3. Communication: How young people can find out about your group and how you communicate once they join
4. Practical considerations you need to address to involve young people such as venue, travel, accessibility etc.

This workshop includes group discussions, a review of case studies and an opportunity to put a plan in place for practical actions you can take after the workshop.
