IPART Out-of-Home Care Review - Carer Workshops

IPART is currently reviewing the cost of delivering OOHC and the pricing arrangements with the non-government providers who deliver care under contract with the NSW Government. We are also looking at the allowance foster carers, relatives and kinship carers receive to meet the costs of providing care and support to children and young people.

We are holding several workshops with carers to discuss the costs of caring and options for how to better support carers to continue caring. Each workshop is targeted towards different types of carers:

• 14 October Online foster and respite carer workshop 11:00AM - 12:30PM
• 15 October Online foster and respite carer workshop 11:00AM - 12:30PM (Registrations closed)
• 16 October Online kinship and relative carer workshop 11:00AM - 12:30PM
• 17 October In-Person Western Sydney all carer workshop 11:00AM - 1:00PM
• 23 October Online disability and high needs carer workshop 11:00AM - 12:30PM
• 23 October Online all carer workshop 5:00PM - 6:30PM
• 28 October Online foster and kinship carer workshop (Aboriginal foster and kinship carers only) 11:00AM - 12:30PM
