Public Hearing for IPART’s Review of prices for Valuer General’s services to councils from 1 July 2025
Event description
We are seeking feedback on the draft decisions, recommendations, prices and questions presented in our Draft Report for IPART’s Review of prices for Valuer General’s services to councils from 1 July 2025.
Stakeholders are invited to attend a public hearing on 15 April 2025 at 10am. IPART will provide an overview of the Draft Report, and we will hear from the Valuer General, LGNSW and NSW Revenue Professionals. This will be followed by a discussion. The agenda for the public hearing can be found here.
IPART has been asked to review the maximum prices that the Valuer General can charge for land valuation services to councils from 1 July 2025 for a 6-year period. The NSW Valuer General is responsible for providing land values in NSW. These are used by councils when calculating rates.
