CATCH SNAP & WIN FISHING COMPETITION
Hosted by Ipswich City Council and 2 Bent Rods, join in this fun fishing competition.
A total prize pool worth up to $2400 is up for grabs, including a kayak!
When: Thursday 28 March – Sunday 14 April 2024
Where: Across waterways within Ipswich local government area (some exclusions apply)

This land-based fishing competition is open to people that live in the Ipswich Region.
The Catch, Snap and Win competition is a photo only competition where entrants will upload photos of their catches to the Track My Fish Tournaments app.Â

How to participate:
- Register at the 2 Bent Rods Humanitix page
- Download the Track My Fish Tournaments app via the Apple or Google Play stores and register under the 2 Bent Rods group
- Catch a fish
- Use the app to provide photos of yourself with the fish (glory photo), and the fish against a ruler, along with a code
Categories:
- Random draw (all participants)
- Best native fish
- Best pest fish for removal
- Most fish caught overall
Entries are in Open (26+yrs), Youth (12-25 years) or Child (under 12) categories.

Winners will be announced on Saturday 20 April 2024 at a free event at Queens Park Environmental Education Centre.
Prizes for each category will be a minimum of:
26yrs & above - $300
12-25yrs - $200
up to 11yrs - $50
Kayak with seat & paddle (valued at over $800)
