About the Event

Join us for a special fundraising gathering in support of the Iranian Music Festival 2026.
This intimate event brings together our community, supporters, and music lovers to learn more about the Festival’s vision, hear directly from the organisers, and enjoy a live performance by CozyMinimal, and connect with fellow music lovers over nibbles and afternoon tea.

Throughout the evening, we will share the story, objectives, and impact of the Iranian Music Festival and its organiser, CozyStage, followed by music that reflects the spirit of the Festival itself. All funds raised will directly support the delivery of the Festival in March 2026.

About the Festival

Australia’s only Iranian music festival returns in 2026, presenting eight performances over three days (6–8 March) at Leichhardt Town Hall, Sydney.

The Iranian Music Festival 2026, presented by CozyStage Inc., celebrates Iranian music in dialogue with neighbouring cultures and contemporary innovation. The program spans three artistic streams — Tradition Sustained, Neighbours in Dialogue, and Innovation Across Borders — featuring more than 50 artists.

Building on two successful editions, the 2026 Festival aims to welcome over 2,000 attendees, fostering cultural pride, artistic exchange, and meaningful community connection. Funds raised support artist fees, production, accessibility initiatives, and documentation to extend the Festival’s reach.

About CozyMinimal

CozyMinimal is a Sydney-based ensemble formed in 2022, weaving Persian musical traditions with the contemplative aesthetics of minimalism.

Since their debut performance at Glebe Town Hall alongside the legendary Masoud Mosallanezhad, CozyMinimal has become a regular presence at the Iranian Music Festival and other cross-cultural stages. Their music unfolds gradually, creating a meditative sound world where repetition, space, and subtle variation invite deep listening. Their debut album is set for release in 2026.
