Discover the True History Behind Día de Muertos, history and Myths of the Festival of the Souls.

Join renowned Mexican art historian Veka Duncan for an engaging lecture that explores the origins, evolution, and most widespread myths surrounding Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead).

This presentation is based on five years of research, the results of which will soon be published in an upcoming book.

About the Speaker

Veka Duncan is an art historian, cultural communicator, and co-host of El Foco on adn40 Noticias. She also collaborates with La Razón, Grupo Fórmula, and Opinión 51, and runs a YouTube channel dedicated to making cultural topics accessible to a broad audience.

The 5:00 PM lecture will be presented in English.
