"I just uploaded our spreadsheets into Claude and it solved the problem in minutes." Fantastic! Or is it?

ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Claude are now part of everyday work, often before anyone has decided how they should be used. They do not work like the cloud software you already use.

What staff type and upload is sent to data centres, often overseas, and processed by a system that can give a different answer to the same question each time. Privacy law, client contracts and vendor terms still apply to all of it.

In this session, a cyber security specialist from Pritech explains where your data goes when staff use AI, which laws and duties apply to Tasmanian organisations, and what you can do about it.

That means deciding which data never goes into any AI tool, checking where a tool processes and keeps data before you approve it, giving staff an approved tool and clear rules so they don't work around them, and making sure a person checks AI output before anyone relies on it.

You will leave with practical steps, Pritech's professional recommendation and recognised guidance, so you can decide what fits your organisation and take it to your next board meeting.

Find out where your data actually goes. Register, and bring your questions for the Q&A.

Who should attend: Business owners, executives, practice managers, and board and committee members. No technical background needed.

Hosted by TCCI in partnership with Pritech, Tasmania's local cybersecurity specialists.

Is it OK to upload that to AI?
