Event description

Understanding and harnessing your business’ innovation culture.

This workshop will focus on two areas critical to supporting innovation at both a departmental and organisational level. A tangible benefit of participating in this workshop is the opportunity to gain a snapshot of where your business is today; and designing improvements to your innovation culture.

Presented by Cameron Newton, QUT School of Management

Length: 2.5 hours (1 hour pre-work to complete online assessment tool, plus 1.5 hour online workshop) The link for the pre-work and online workshop will be emailed after registration.

QUT’s Centre for METS Business Innovation (CMBI) is pleased to be part of the MackHack Mining and METS Hackathon 2021.

Our research in the Mining and METS sector focuses on facilitating the fast and successful adoption of innovative technologies that have the potential to drive value-creating in mining.

There can be business, organisational, managerial and eco-system dynamics which are potential bottlenecks to adoption. We identify these barriers and work with industry, business and government to provide solutions to these major challenges for technology transformation in METS.
