Is your feminist organisation feminist?
Description
“Leading a feminist organisation does not make you a feminist leader; leading a social justice organisation does not make you a socially just leader." Srilatha Batliwala
How can we recognise and transform power relations in society, if we can’t recognise and challenge unequal power relations in our internal organisational culture and practices?
International Women’s Development Agency and Gender at Work invite you to join global feminist leaders as we discuss ways to create cultures of care and resilience in our organisations, mobilise resources and funding to do our work, and ensure our organisational leadership lives up to our feminist values.
In these webinars, feminists from around the world will discuss how they are turning feminist politics and principles into feminist practices, and aspiring to build systems and structures that reflect feminist leadership, governance and accountability.
The event will launch International Women’s Development Agency’s new Toolkit on Feminist Organisational Capacity Strengthening.
There will be two webinars for different timezones. Please register for the webinar at your preferred time.
