Born and raised in regional NSW, Isabelle has built an impressive career both in Australia and the US. From her breakout role as Vicky in the AACTA Award-winning Puberty Blues to starring alongside Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy. Isabelle brings a wealth of acting experience to share with emerging and professional actors alike.
In this masterclass, actors will gain a deep understanding of the core principles of the Practical Aesthetics Technique. Practical Aesthetics is an action-based acting technique conceived by David Mamet and William H. Macy, based on the teachings of Stanislavski and Sanford Meisner. The approach demystifies acting by giving artists clear, actionable tools—combining detailed script analysis with moment-to-moment spontaneity.
Isabelle’s teaching style is dynamic, engaging, and experiential—she tailors her approach to meet each actor where they are, creating a safe and non-judgmental environment that encourages growth and creative freedom.
