Professor Mohamad Abdalla is both a Founding Director and Professor of Islamic Studies at the Centre for Islamic Thought and Education at the University of South Australia.
His scholarly contributions include numerous publications and co-edited volumes such as Wellbeing in Islamic Schools, Curriculum Renewal for Islamic Education, Leadership in Islam, Islamic Schooling in the West, Islam and the Australian News Media, and Islamic Science: The Myth of the Decline Theory, reflecting his commitment to renewing Islamic studies and education and exploring the shared legacies of Islamic and Western civilisations.
