Israel was built on vision, courage and hope — and it’s time to dream again.
At a crossroads following Israel’s greatest challenges to date, The Jewish Independent is hosting Sir Mick Davis and Mike Prashker of The London Initiative for a community-wide conversation exploring the future of Israel’s democracy and the role of the Jewish Diaspora in shaping it. They will be speaking with former ABC Middle East correspondent Debbie Whitmont.
The London Initiative brings fresh thinking from its experience linking Israeli and Diaspora leadership to accompany and support the movement for an Israel that we and a majority of Israelis want it to be.
The evening will explore how the Jewish diaspora can and will find a way through unchartered waters, to engage in ongoing dialogue about values, principles, democracy, security and hope for the future.
It is an opportunity to listen, learn, and contribute to a respectful discussion on Israel’s future — one that prizes understanding over agreement and hope over division.
